James and the Giant Peach (2017)

JGP logo webFor our seventh season, (2017) Two Rivers Musical Productions was proud to present four performances of ‘James and the Giant Peach’.  Filled with unforgettable characters and memorable songs, each audience was torn between feeling distraught that poor James would have to live with such despicable aunts, and excitement that James and his new friends would overcome their fears and obstacles to flourish in a “new and improved” family.  The cast and crew were sad to see the giant peach roll out of town and look forward to next year’s project, whatever that may be.  Stay, tuned….

Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (2016)

ChittyFor our sixth season, (2016) Two Rivers Musical Productions presented ‘Chitty Chitty Bang Bang’; based on the MGM Motion Picture with music and lyrics written by Richard and Robert Sherman. This adventurous production featured a ‘flying’ car, incredible set, wonderful music and songs, and a delightful cast. The audience was swept up in the adventures of the eccentric inventor and his children as they searched for Grandpa Potts. They thwarted the evil actions of the Baron and Baroness and found laughter and love along the way!

Seussical Jr. (2015)

To celebrate its fifth year, Two Rivers presented ‘Seussical Jr.’ The zany, magical show showcased the talents of young performers aged 9-18. Written in the iconic style of Dr. Seuss, the musical extravaganza follows the fortunes of Horton the Elephant as he tries to save the tiny people called Whos. Through hardship and trials, ultimately, the powers of friendship and loyalty prevail. The talent of our young performers really helped to make this production come alive!

My Fair Lady (2014)

In its fourth year, Two Rivers presented My Fair Lady.  Filled with unforgettable musical numbers – such as “Wouldn’t It Be Loverly?,” “With a Little Bit of Luck,” “The Rain in Spain,”  and “I Could Have Danced All Night” – it’s no wonder everyone fell in love with My Fair Lady and Eliza Doolittle.

 

 

The Wizard of Oz (2013)

 

In its third year, Two Rivers presented The Wizard of Oz to the delight of many. The Wizard of Oz is based on the classic story by L. Frank Baum, immortalized in the Oscar-winning 1939 film and adapted to the stage for this entertaining production.

 

 

Fiddler on the Roof (2012)

 

In Two Rivers Musical Productions’ second year they took on Fiddler on the Roof. One of the most beloved Broadway musicals, it tells the unforgettable story of Tevye the dairyman, his family and fellow villagers as they struggle to hold onto their traditions amid the upheaval of the Russian Revolution.

Annie (2011)

 

Two Rivers Musical Productions’ inaugural show was the classic and much-loved musical Annie.  Set in 1933 in New York City, eleven-year old ophan, Annie, brings her infectious spirit to the stage with popular songs such as “Tomorrow” and “It’s the Hard-Knock Life”.
